My adventure with Woodchopper started about 15 years ago, when I gave a manual wood splitter to a friend as a gift. A few years later, I wanted one for myself, but to my surprise, the product was no longer available.

That inspired me to develop an improved version. I wanted to make it safer, more ergonomic and more durable. By using stainless steel and adding a longer lever, the new design made splitting wood easier and required less effort.

That is how Woodchopper came to be: an improved version of an original Dutch concept, developed with a focus on convenience, safety and reliability.

From the Netherlands to Sweden

For many years, Woodchopper was manufactured and assembled in the Netherlands. When we moved to Sweden, we moved the entire production and assembly process with us.

Today, Woodchopper is fully manufactured and assembled in Sweden. Although production has moved, the original idea remains the same: to create a practical, reliable tool that makes preparing kindling easier.
